What Happens at Arraignment?

At an arraignment, the state or the government, depending on whether it’s a state or a federal case, will announce the charges against you, we will have the opportunity to file a plea of not guilty on your behalf, and then that’s the first opportunity that we have to also just demand all the discovery on your case.
