Even If I Have Not yet Been Charged but Am Only Under Investigation, Do I Still Need an Attorney

When you’re under investigation, you have a window of opportunity to be well-represented, hopefully, to avoid criminal charges being filed against you. So if you get a Grand Jury subpoena, if you get a letter stating that you’re a subject or a target, if you have any inkling from neighbors or friends that agents have been asking about you, that is your cue to immediately get a top notch experienced criminal defense attorney, because you have this window of opportunity. You must take advantage of it.
