Originario del Reino Unido, estudi\u00f3 en la Queen\u2019s University de Belfast y obtuvo una licenciatura en Derecho (con honores) en 2012. Tambi\u00e9n cuenta con una maestr\u00eda en Derecho Internacional P\u00fablico de la Universidad de Leiden y un doctorado en Derecho Internacional de la Universidad de Cambridge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El Dr. Clements es actualmente investigador residente en el Instituto de Derecho y Pol\u00edtica Global, con sede en la Facultad de Derecho de Harvard, donde investiga temas relacionados con el derecho penal internacional y las atrocidades masivas. Ha publicado en varias revistas internacionales de prestigio, entre ellas la\u00a0<em>Revista de Justicia Penal Internacional\u00a0<\/em>y el\u00a0<em>Revista de Derecho Internacional de Leiden<\/em>\u00a0y ha impartido clases de derecho internacional tanto en el nivel de pregrado como de posgrado en el Reino Unido (Universidad de Cambridge) y en los Estados Unidos (Facultad de Derecho de Harvard).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El Dr. Clements cuenta con una amplia experiencia profesional tanto a nivel nacional como internacional. En particular, se ha desempe\u00f1ado como asistente de pol\u00edticas e investigaci\u00f3n en la Comisi\u00f3n de Derechos Humanos de Irlanda del Norte, donde se enfoc\u00f3 en el r\u00e9gimen antiterrorista del Reino Unido, las prisiones y los temas de discriminaci\u00f3n. Tambi\u00e9n ha aportado su experiencia en defensa en casos de gran repercusi\u00f3n en el Tribunal Penal Internacional para la ex Yugoslavia y ha trabajado en la Corte Penal Internacional.
